Tour Itinerary
5.45 – group gathering at Philharmonic Square.
6.00 – departure from Chernivtsi to the city of Cîmpolun-Moldovenesc, Romania.
11.00 – start of the hiking route.
The total length of the route is 11 km.
Elevation gain – 900 m (as on Hoverla).
In terms of difficulty, it can be compared with a hike to Mt. Pip Ivan Chornohirsky.

The route runs along the bed of the Kaselor River.
You will pass through a deep mountain gorge formed by the bed of this river.
For the convenience of tourists, the route through the “Devil’s Mill” canyon
is equipped with wooden bridges.
Along the way, you will see the Markushan and Khilga mountains (1093 m),
the Smoking Stone mountain (1020 m), and the Vysoky Verkh (1163 m).
When the forest ends, we will be able to see in the distance
the Todirescu Mountains (1487 m) and the Koroli Rareu (1628 m).
Through the mountain meadows we will reach the meteorological station on Rareu.
We will see the Maiden Rocks.

- A hike of medium to high difficulty. Elevation gain – 900 m. The length of the route is 11 km.
- You need to have special trekking shoes, as well as a change of shoes.

A biometric passport is required!
Seats on the bus are assigned by the manager who accepts the order.
Boarding the bus is carried out according to the seating scheme.
Due to the curfew, the duration of the excursion may be reduced.
Description of Tour Locations
Каньйон (ущелина) «Чортів Млин» (рум. Moara Dracului), розташований біля північно-східного підніжжя гір Рарау, у верхній течії потоку Валя Каселор (Valea Caselor), є найкрасивішими та найкраще збереженим каньйоном у всій Південній Буковині. Охороняється як геологічний заповідник площею 10 га. Знаходиться каньйон в 10,5 км від центру Кимпулунг-Молдовенеск.
Ущелина Моара Дракулу досягає 60-70 м в довжину і в середньому 4-5 м у висоту, а в деяких місцях скелі прямо нависають у вас над головами.
Навколо цих ущелин все ще можна зустріти кілька видів тиса ягідного – льодовиковий релікт, золоту деревину наших давніх лісів, а також раритети зі світу рослин і тварин, такі як: едельвейс, дзвіночки, яструб звичайний, рись, куниця, лисиця та ін.
По маршруту ви побачите справа хребет Битка Маркушан із г. Хильга (1093 м), зліва – Димову гору (1020 м) та гору Великий Верх (1163 м).
В кінці лісової дороги в долині ви зможете побачити гору Тодіреску (1487 м) та гору Піп Раревський (1628 м) вдалині. Після злиття потоку Валя Каселор із своїми притоками, стежка повертає праворуч до каньйону «Чортів Млин» (Moara Dracului). Нарешті пройшовши 2 км. через ліс, ми потрапляємо в каньйон. Дерев’яні місточки, кладки і підпори допоможуть вам подолати каньйон «Чортів Млин». Зупиніться, підніміть вверх голову в пошуках промінчика сонячного світла, зробіть ефектні фото на згадку.
Подолавши каньйон йдемо попід горою Хильга (1093 м), а далі знову через ліс до околиць гори Піп Раревський та полонини Сідло Пастуха (Saua Ciobanilor). Маршрут продовжується біля метеостанції на горі Рареу (1651 м) праворуч та Каменя Бика зліва і завершується біля притулку Рареу.
Сідаємо в автобус і по серпантину спускаємось до с. Пажоріта та Кимполунг-Молдовенеск.
Booking Rules
- Booking excursions takes place in the following order: 1. Reservation of seats (by phone, via messenger, via e-mail, in person at the office). Reservation of seats is valid only if it is confirmed by the manager. 2. Receiving confirmation from the manager that the group has been recruited and the trip will take place (usually occurs in the period from 7 to 2 days before departure) 3. Full advance payment for the excursion. 4. Receiving information from the manager by the client about the time and place of departure. 5. Participation in the excursion;
- If the minimum required number of excursion participants is not reached, this excursion is canceled. If the excursion has already been paid for, the funds are returned to the client in full. The client may be notified of the cancellation of the excursion no later than 24 hours before departure (except in cases of force majeure).
- If the client cancels the excursion, the payment for the excursion is refunded as follows: no later than 5 business days before departure - we refund 100% of the cost; from 3 to 2 days before departure - we refund 50% of the cost; less than 1 business day before departure, as well as in case of no-show on the day of departure (regardless of the conditions and circumstances) - we do not refund the payment;
- The funds paid for the excursion can be credited to another person proposed by the client who paid and himself refused the trip;
- Our travel agency is not responsible for changing the cost of entrance tickets at tourist attractions;
- Visiting one tourist attraction in the excursion program can be replaced by visiting another attraction (of equal value);
- The excursion takes place in any weather conditions, except in cases of a sharp deterioration in the weather (storm warning);
- Boarding the bus is carried out according to the seating scheme, except for some short-distance excursions.
- Booking a specific seat on the bus is carried out for an additional fee.
- Our agency is not responsible for delays when crossing the border, traffic jams, actions of other tourists participating in the excursion.
- During the excursion it is forbidden to: drink alcoholic beverages, eat, smoke in transport, talk loudly on the phone, interfere with the driver and guide from performing their functions during the excursion, take pets with you (without the consent of the manager);
- The tour guide and driver are not responsible for health problems that tourists have and complications that tourists may experience during the trip (nausea when moving, the need to visit the toilet more often than usual, special dietary needs;
- During the tour, a special stop for meals may not be provided. It is worth clarifying information about meals with the manager before the trip.
- By booking and paying for the tour, the client automatically agrees to the Tour Booking Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
