7.00 – departure from Chernivtsi to the village of Neporotove,

Dnistrovsky district of Chernivtsi region.

Cave Monastery of Halytsia.

Collection of mineral water. Descent to the bay.

Boarding a river tram.

Excursion along the Dniester with a stop for rest on a clean river beach.

Visit to the observation deck on Mount Vepryk, or “Lavochka”.

You will see Bakotskaya Bay and Mount Bila on the opposite bank of the Dniester.

Important Notes

On the territory of the male Orthodox monastery of Galitsa, a dress code must be observed: women and girls must wear a head covering, covered shoulders and knees, men must wear covered shoulders;
You must bring your own food.
The trip takes place without a guide.
There is a safe but steep descent and ascent of 150 m to the bay from the monastery.

Seats on the bus are assigned by the manager who accepts the order. Boarding the bus is carried out according to the seating chart.

Description of Tour Locations

Галицький монастир. На правому березі Дністра, високо над річкою сховався від сонця та пронизливих вітрів скельний Галицький Свято – Миколаївський монастир, який в народі зветься «Галиця». Зветься так тому, що розкинувся на околиці однойменного села в верхній частині крутого Дністрового схилу на висоті, що дорівнює приблизно 120 метрам над рівнем Дністровського водосховища. Тут милують око дивовижні природні панорами Дністровського каньйону і вражають люди, які покинули звичне життя і поселились в природних печерах вапняних скель Галицького яру. В цих скелях розміщені не лише келії монахів, а й скельні могильники. Залишки наскельних ієрогліфів свідчать про те, що задовго до православних ченців це місце було облюбоване древніми язичниками. Історики ж відносять появу тут першого православного скиту до 8 століття. У 18 столітті монастир було зруйновано турками, згодом природними катаклізмами, його знищували в 1943-му, але завдяки неймовірним зціленням в цьому місці, він щоразу відроджувався.

Дністровське водосховище – одна з найкрасивіших частин Дністра – найдовшої ріки України, протяжність якої складає майже 1400 км. Це водосховище називають ще Штучним, або Галицьким морем. Його було створено в 1981-1987 роки. Площа вражає масштабами. Глибина води сягає до 21 метра, в окремих місцях до 50 метрів. Звичайно ж основною причиною створення водосховища були програми з гідроенергетики. Але нині береги навколо водосховища стали місцем паломництва туристів та відпочиваючих. З кожним поворотом русла ріки відбувається зміна живописних ландшафтів. Мішані ліси на обривистих скелях, плеса ріки, що обдаровують благодаттю неймовірно величавої природи, мальовничі сінокоси з цілющими запашними травами, спокійна течія Дністрових вод – все це сприяє духовному і фізичному зціленню і, звичайно ж, створює приємну атмосферу для відпочинку.

Дністровська ГАЕС – була зведена на Дністровському водосховищі у 80-тих роках минулого століття. Гідроакумулююча станція є однією з найбільших в Європі і світі. Вона не лише дозволяє Україні виробляти енергію та продавати її за кордон, а й служить захистом від повеней найближчим населеним пунктам.

Національний парк «Хотинський» – має площу біля 10 тисяч гектарів. В основному рельєфи природно-заповідного фонду формують каньйони долин Дністра. Тут можна побачити найвищий на Буковині водоспад висотою до 30 метрів та найбільшу орхідею, а також більше тисячі видів тварин – багатство флори і фауни буковинського краю. 42 види рослин парку занесені до раритетних міжнародних списків, 17 тварин занесено до Червоної книги України (16 з них до міжнародних списків).

Booking Rules

Booking excursions takes place in the following order: 1. Reservation of seats (by phone, via messenger, via e-mail, in person at the office). Reservation of seats is valid only if it is confirmed by the manager. 2. Receiving confirmation from the manager that the group has been recruited and the trip will take place (usually occurs in the period from 7 to 2 days before departure) 3. Full advance payment for the excursion. 4. Receiving information from the manager by the client about the time and place of departure. 5. Participation in the excursion;
If the minimum required number of excursion participants is not reached, this excursion is canceled. If the excursion has already been paid for, the funds are returned to the client in full. The client may be notified of the cancellation of the excursion no later than 24 hours before departure (except in cases of force majeure).
If the client cancels the excursion, the payment for the excursion is refunded as follows: no later than 5 business days before departure - we refund 100% of the cost; from 3 to 2 days before departure - we refund 50% of the cost; less than 1 business day before departure, as well as in case of no-show on the day of departure (regardless of the conditions and circumstances) - we do not refund the payment;
The funds paid for the excursion can be credited to another person proposed by the client who paid and himself refused the trip;
Our travel agency is not responsible for changing the cost of entrance tickets at tourist attractions;
Visiting one tourist attraction in the excursion program can be replaced by visiting another attraction (of equal value);
The excursion takes place in any weather conditions, except in cases of a sharp deterioration in the weather (storm warning);
Boarding the bus is carried out according to the seating scheme, except for some short-distance excursions.
Booking a specific seat on the bus is carried out for an additional fee.
Our agency is not responsible for delays when crossing the border, traffic jams, actions of other tourists participating in the excursion.
During the excursion it is forbidden to: drink alcoholic beverages, eat, smoke in transport, talk loudly on the phone, interfere with the driver and guide from performing their functions during the excursion, take pets with you (without the consent of the manager);
The tour guide and driver are not responsible for health problems that tourists have and complications that tourists may experience during the trip (nausea when moving, the need to visit the toilet more often than usual, special dietary needs;
During the tour, a special stop for meals may not be provided. It is worth clarifying information about meals with the manager before the trip.
By booking and paying for the tour, the client automatically agrees to the Tour Booking Rules and undertakes to comply with them.
